DetectivePika
Hi, I'm new to this I have no idea how I should go about using the multi card kit with the Corsair's waterblock for the 3090 FE. I have the Hydro X Series XF Hardline 12mm OD Fitting but have no idea when I should actually fit this. Any help'll be appreciated. Thanks! Mount both cards horizontally and use the fittings? Not really so many ways to do it? Edited March 21, 2021 by MADRGB
DetectivePika
Oh. I want to know if I mount the cards and then install the multicard kit or do I have to do it before?
LeDoyen
people do it both ways. the less cringy method to me is installing the pipes beforehand and slotting both cards at the same time on the motherboard. Not a fan of bending the cards in slot to fit the pipes. Just be cautious, put both pipes on one card, fit the second card on the first's pipes, keeping em parallel at all times.. and slot that to the mobo with the case laying flat on its side. I would recommend the advice above, dont do it 1 by 1. Plus a tip: Keep the protective covers on the gpu pci connectors until you are ready to mount them. That way you can assemble them together with the connector facing down without risk.
DetectivePika
I got this working. Thanks everyone! I did it! There was no click or anything as an indication so it was a bit difficult but it worked.
