stollie
I am having trouble installing 2 of these modules into this ASUS board. It may be I have a bad stick. When I have the 1st one in, everything looks good and runs fine. When i put in the 2nd, it shows the exact same memory count, regardless of what configuration it is in. If I try the 2nd by itself, I get no post just a beep code. Even if I do have a bad stick, any reason why the Value Select product would be incompatible with the A8N-SLI? Thanks in advance! Wired
Recommended Modules for the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe They're compatible. Besides, you've already proven that they're compatible and that you just have a bad stick.

I guess my big worry was that the ASUS Manual says that the VS 1G will work in a single stick or quad stick config, but not a dual stick.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 6, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 6, 2005 LOL! Well I think it’s probably just the way they translate Chinese to English, AKA Chinglish! You can use 2 modules or one module and if you use 4 modules you would be limited to DDR333. Please submit the failing module and we will replace it. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
