Judge John
Hello, I have 3 x LL120 RGB fans connected to a H115i Elite Capellix controller and was hoping to use the ‘customer curve’ functionality to turn them off at low temperatures and only come up when it gets higher. Unfortunately the lowest they seem to be able to go, even when set at 0 in iCue, is 700RPM. I’m worried the answer to this is that they don’t support speeds below this RPM, but wanted to check if that’s true? It would be annoying if it is, as I have already used them with my motherboard control software (Asus Ai suite 3) when connected to it and I know that will happily turn them off when at low temperatures. But ideally I wanted to do everything in one piece of software. Thanks, John
DevBLaud
I have LL120's connected to a Commander Pro and I can turn them off with a custom curve.
Sacco Belmonte
Believe me. If you set fans to Zero RPM you'll end up with a much higher idle temperature as the coolant slowly heats up. At some point it could even reach the fans "ON" point and start turning on/off. Zero fan is only useful if you have a push pull (4 fans) config and you wanna turn off one side. Also 700RPM is certainly silent.
