Reader1632
I just purchased a new mb and the athlon 64 939 socket 3000 processor. Everything is going great with it but, i was looking to up my ram to 1 gig. I have a pair of 256 mb twinx 3200 llpt running in dual channel. The timings are 2-2-2-6. I was going to try and get the same thing but, i'm having a hard time finding it and when I do it's around $180 or so. I was wondering which is the best and most economical way to get to a gig. Any help would be appreicated. Ryan
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 5, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 5, 2005 I would just find another use for the modules you have now and get 1 Twinx1024-3200XL for best performance. Other wise you will need to match the modules part# and revision amd with 4 modules you may be limited to DDR333 and I would suggest setting the timings to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 at 2.8 Volts.
