Ariss
Hi again! So i bought 6 LL120 fans from a friend. He said that they are spinning fine but the colors are not responding to the software. So i tested some and indeed, They spin good but the colors are really weird. When i first select rainbow they run rainbow, But when i do a static color like red afterwards, You see partly red and the rest is still rainbow and so on! I think they might be corrupt but all six of them? I attached some photos where you can see the weird colors. Any help?
Corsair Employees Corsair Mordred Posted March 1, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 1, 2021 Hi Ariss, Try hooking up each LL fan to slot 1 on the LED Hub. If this doesn't cause any unusual behaviour, leave one fan on slot 1 and test the remaining fans on slot 2 Repeat on further slots until you run out of fans - but always make sure to fill up the slots in order (starting from 1) as they are wired in series. This will highlight if a fan, or the LED Hub is at fault; isolating where the fault is located if the hub is at fault.

So I tested every fan on fan slot 1 and some were working at the beginning but afterwards when i switched to red and then to white, they were partly white and partly red. and some were even flickering. Some were only lightning up half and other showed random colors. When i tested other fans on the LED hub they were working fine so i don't think its the hub.
