Otterwastaken
I just bought the 4000x rgb case and I move all my parts over but i went to go plug the fan bay in and I can’t find where to plug the power cable into. I plugged the power cable for the rgb to turn on for the fans but the cable to make them spin I have no idea.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 24, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 24, 2021 That is an internal USB Type-C connector. If you trace the cables from the fans you will notice a second cable that isn't plugged into anything. That is the cable you will need to plug into an internal fan header on your motherboard. mozz070
Hello, I dig up this subject : I have exactly the same problem and I didn't find this "lonely cable" you're talking about. It seems to me that the USB Type C connector should be connected directly to the motherboard but I can't find any compatible socket on it (my motherboard = asus tuf gaming b550m-plus) as cables remaining to connect I only have those of the other fans which plug on the fan headers socket Could you be more precise in your answer ? (photo for example) 🙏 Thanks 😀
