thomas2021
Hello, i just bought a new HX850. Out of the box, it makes a buzzing noise at 7kHz when load is > 100W. The noise is loud enough to disturb me even with case fans running. I checked that my 230V socket earth is good. I tried with 2 graphics cards : RTX 3060 ti and GTX 1070, same noise happening. For comparison, I have another 600w PSU which doesn't make any noise with the same graphic cards. Also it looks like an issue with filtering, because the computer is in my room, and there are low voltage halogen lights in my kitchen. When i switch on the light, i can hear the same noise in the lights low voltage transformer. If i then go to my room and switch off the computer, then in the kitchen the noise is gone. What should I do ?

What should I do ? If you plug the PC into a completely different circuit, does the noise go away?
