Xr3iRacer
Hi I have the 4000x case and i plugged the three fans from the case into the motherboard for power and the rgb into the lighting node that came with the case. I installed a H100i Elite Capellix in the top and that came with a commander controller, should i have put the case fans into this for power and RGB? Or do the case fans need to plugged into the motherboard so there speed can be set with the cpu temp? Many thanks
baz2011uk
plug them into the commander core as this will run 6 x fans and remove the node unless you use more than 6 fans i have the same 3 x front fans h100i elite capellix 1 x rear all running from the commander core i know my cable management is not great but this give you the idea
Xr3iRacer
Thanks thats great. Im assuming you can then control fan speed yourself as opposed to the front fans spinning up everytime the temps shoots up and down? Do you custom curves on your cooler? baz2011uk
it depends on the fans i did swap all mine out to ql's and have full fan control either custom or pre sets
