CorSparrow
Hello, please im desperated here any help will be apreciated. -----------FIXED---------- My problem is this: I have 32gb (4x8gb) DDR4 Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000mhz CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 rev4.24, a x570 Aorus Elite, ryzen 5900x and a 1000watt Corsair PSU; whenever i activate XMP on my new system doesnt give video, I can overclock the four of them at 3200mhz or activate XMP on my intel setup with no issue tho. I can activate XMP only using 3 slots of rams, doesnt matter the slot order, only work a maximun of 3. I have the lastest BIOS instaled. I can use the four of them, but only on default 2133 speeds. I tried to loose presure on CPU brackets, swap the orders of the ram, poke the voltaje up/down, almost everything so far without no results, anyone has been through this that can help me please? Any other info u need just ask. Thanks in advance Edited February 19, 2021 by CorSparrow
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 19, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2021 As you can see in the link below that kit is not compatible with any Ryzen based system and as such you are not likely to get the XMP profile to enable. Other issue is you are then mixing two of those incompatible kits of memory which further adds to the problem as each kit is only validated and guaranteed to work in a 16GB (2x8GB) configuration they were packaged and sold as. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/DOMINATOR%C2%AE-PLATINUM-16GB-%282-x-8GB%29-DDR4-DRAM-3000MHz-C15-Memory-Kit/p/CMD16GX4M2B3000C15#tab-tech-specs
