Bennotae
I installed the Dominator Platinum Airflow fans to keep my memory cool as I run very intensive computational software, BOINC and Folding@home. This was a perfect solution as it drops the memory temp by at least 5 degrees C. Since the Airflow fans were first issued in 2015 it appears that it was designed to work with LINK but iCUE does not give me an option to utilize the fan RGB. I can get one fan or the other to light in a color I cannot control or both but only as white and it does not respond to instant lighting. The fan is installed and recognized as part of my Capellex 150 AIO and will run at the speed I select. I tried controlling it with LINK but LINK is disabled by iCUE. Since the device was purchased for cooling, and it is doing a fantastic job at cooling, I am fine with how it working. But I'd like to be able to control the RGB. Any suggestions? Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 16, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 16, 2021 You can control the RGB via iCUE but you will not be able to have control over the fan RGB if you have it connected to the Commander Core that comes with your Elite Capellix cooler. You will need to utilize a separate RGB Fan LED Hub + LNP or Commander Pro and have it set up as a single HD Series RGB Fan.
