mansyno
hi, i know how to remap buttons using the icue. but when i map one of the buttons (i mapped the "F" key to the sniper button but i only want to use it on one specific game (nms). currently the remapping is active everywhere. i tried linking my profile to nms .exe in the profile setting file but this does not help i couldn't find info on the forum for this is it possible? thanks
c-attack
This should work. In order for it to work in that game only, you must either link the profile to the .exe or manually switch to that profile prior to playing. Finding some launcher controlled game executables can be tough. The Steam version is going to be at "Drive letter"/Steam/Steam Apps/common/No Man's Sky/Binaries "NMS.exe". It seems like you may have found it correctly, so we are down to profile management, whether the it is switching to your NMS profile on launch, or if you have done this in a different profile. mansyno
thanks, seems you are right:) but turns out i needed to have a 2nd profile created, because otherwise the one profile that i had was taking on every time no matter which game i linked it too. but now that i have a 2nd profile that is linked nothing then the first profile is only getting active when i run the NMS game
c-attack
Yeah, that is a problem. If you have only one profile it cannot be the default and the game profile at the same time. Linked profiles cannot be the default profile. You can create massive numbers of profiles, so there is no reason not make one specifically for the game. You can speed this up sometimes by using "copy profile" tp duplicate existing profiles with actions and fan speeds already set instead of starting from scratch.
