Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB Double Click

For the last few weeks I've been experiencing a double-click effect on my left mouse button. After looking online I've tried a couple possible solutions but with no luck. I've tried pressing and holding the reset button while plugging in the mouse; I've tried clearing the onboard memory; I've tried forcing a firmware update (on already updated firmware).

 

Is there anything else I can try? I'm about ready to downgrade my firmware and/or mouse driver.. not sure how to go about doing either of these yet but will wait to see if anyone has run into this same issue before researching it.

my iron claw mouse was doing the same thing b4 the scroll wheel broke so i think it is the switches they are using are crap.

 

my razor mouse started doing the same thing but after 6 years of usage just makes me think they are making these things to brake not long after warranty expires or the qc on everything has gone out the window.
