Knif3
Hey guys, I’m trying to connect 10 fans (7 case fans/3 on the radiator) but I’m trying to figure out how I’m suppose to have enough usb internal headers. Both of my lightning nodes are connected via usb headers to my commander pro and then the commander pro to my motherboard. Although I still need one more spot for my Corsair H150i 360mm rgb xt to plug in via usb. Any help would be appreciated!
LeDoyen
you may need one of those : https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub Runs off SATA power, solves all kinds of problems magically :)
Knif3
Thank you! I actually just found out about those haha, too bad that specific one is more expensive than the newer (gen 3)
Vegan
there are lots of different models. one I use splits one 9-pin into 2 of them, usb extension cables are useful as well I have fan extension cables, sata power extensions and splitter and lots of different lengths of SATA cable etc
