Ausyenlowang
are there plans to make waterblocks for the other manufacturers? i currently own a 3090 FTW3 Ultra, and have a full corsair HydroX watercooling setup and would love something thats just plug and play into the ecosystem, that matches up with everything else. also is there and now i know im reaching... a chance of WHITE waterblocks to go along with all the other glorious white gear? Don't hold your breath for EVGA releasing a standalone Hydro Copper block any time soon. The rumour is that they weren't happy with what was made and currently there is no ETA from Jacob. are there plans to make waterblocks for the other manufacturers? i currently own a 3090 FTW3 Ultra, and have a full corsair HydroX watercooling setup and would love something thats just plug and play into the ecosystem, that matches up with everything else. also is there and now i know im reaching... a chance of WHITE waterblocks to go along with all the other glorious white gear? Tia I use the EK Vector block (and backplate) for my EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra and have it residing within the Corsair RGB ecosystem. Unfortunately there's quite a wait for a block at this time as they are still working through the pre-orders (I ordered mine 7 Dec when they opened pre-orders and received it 2 weeks ago). Alphacool has a block as well plus there's always the expensive and over-engineered rare as a unicorn Optimus block. I use this Pirate Dog Tech cable to adapt the block's ARGB output to one of the RGB channels/ports on my Commander Pro. The EK waterblock has 9 LEDs which I defined (within ICUE) as 1 x Hydro X XD5 which has 10 LEDs - close enough (1 x LED strip, again 10 LEDs would suffice as well) within the Lighting setup for that channel. Ausyenlowang
Yeah i saw EK have a Vector block for them, but.... was really hoping for something that just works within the ecosystem rather than needing another 3rd party software that wont be in timing sync. especially when its front and centre.. Gasalon
A white block would be awesome indeed :)
BlaiseP
I have the same card with an EK block - good luck getting one before at least April; they're still dealing with backorders. You can use this PirateDog Tech cable to hook the block's LED strip into a lighting channel on your Commander Pro etc. The block has 9 LEDs so you can set it up as a single LED strip or (as I did), a Hydro X XD5 which both are 10 LED configurations. How does the EKWB block look w/ having 1 LED less than the Corsair options? Does it nix the first or last LED?
LeDoyen
always the last LEDs. since data is passed from one led to the other. the 9th LED chip will send data to a nonexisting LED basically.
