Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 2, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2021 You don't have a Commander Pro. What you have is the control unit for the Elite Capelix coolers called the Commander Core. When you have the cooler plugged into it it will only show up as the cooler. Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 2, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2021 If you are connecting the Commander Core into the USB passthrough of the Commander Pro try instead plugging the Commander Core USB cable directly into an internal USB 2.0 header on your motherboard instead of the Commander Pro. Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 2, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2021 You said you have an H100i V2 Plat cooler. Now that isn't an actual cooler of ours and based on the description I am assuming you mean our H100i Elite Capelix Cooler which would have a Commander Core, as it is the large black control box that looks like a cut down version of the Commander Pro. If that isn't the cooler you have then please confirm the exact cooler you have as I am going off the little bit of information you have provided which isn't all that much considering it isn't correct information. Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 2, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2021 If you aren't able to get the cooler to be recognized and controlled via the iCUE software when plugged in to the passthrough on the Commander Pro what happens when you plug it directly into an internal USB 2.0 header directly on your motherboard? Aalb75
If you don't have any available usb headers left on your motherboard, I would recommend you get one of these https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub I use 2 of them in my build.
