ryosuke
Hey Ram Guy I guess I found what the problem is and its not the Mobo, well Im not totally sure, but today i played with the cpu multiplier, I set it to 9.5x, HT 4x, timing at 2.5-3-3-6 and rams at 231mhz and the system is rock solid, so the problem its maybe with the processor. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 19, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 19, 2005 I also just read back thu your posts and noticed that you had Cool and Quiet enabled, you might want to Disable this as well. But that sounds like a logical assumption.
ryosuke
I also just read back thu your posts and noticed that you had Cool and Quiet enabled, you might want to Disable this as well. But that sounds like a logical assumption. I tried CnQ On and Off with any settings and its stable as a server with Cpu ratio set at 9.5x. It becomes very unstable with any settings thats with cpu ratio 11x so im really sure this time that the prob is with the processor. Thanks for all the support you gave me

ryosuke
Hi RamGuy it's almost been 2 years that I got my replacement and my problem is back again it was never stable but im bearing with it until last week my comp can't boot to the windows and I've sent my comp to get checked and the tech says that my ram is defective, I think my motherboard dont really like the twinx c2 pro and the bios settings is at default except the ram voltage set to 2.80v. Thank you.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 18, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 18, 2007 I would test them in slot one and load setup defaults and then set the tested settings, Cas 2-3-3-6 at 2.8 Volts and command Rate set to 2T.
ryosuke
I've Tried every setting that I could possibly imagined except with CAS 2 since my processor is an AMD, somewhere said that C2 pro can only handle cas 2.5 with amd proc and I've tried CAS 2 last year just for fun and windows just dont load. By the way my Rams never worked at 1T

ryosuke
Thank you for the support Ram guy :): but can I have another model of ram than the C2 pro, it had been 2 pairs of them that its not working well with my comp.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 19, 2007 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 19, 2007 That would suggest its not the memory and command Rate is not a memory setting and should be set to 2T. Did you test them at 2T?
ryosuke
My comp cant take 1T, It crashes before the windows welcome screen. And I forgot to say that I have errors with memtest within 5 sec when its on dual channel mod.
