Issue with Commander Node Pro USB Passthrough

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I currently have a Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler, a Corsair Fan Controller Commander Pro to control the CORSAIR RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion Kit and I also have an RGB panel that cam with my Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case that controls the 6 RGB fans for my case. Unfortunately, I have never been able to get the USB passthrough on the Commander pro to work to allow me to have all 3 of these USB devices connected? Not sure if this is a common issue or not but any help would be much appreciated otherwise I feel like I will either have to get rid of the RGB light strips or change my fans for Aura Sync as I know iCUE now works with that.

Thank you.

Your issue is most likely due to the internal USB headers on your motherboard are not providing enough power in order for the passthrough to work correctly. Utilizing a high quality internal USB hub that has supplemental power should resolve the problem.

Something like the NZXT one?
