Recommended Posts

the power, reset, USB lights are not working and i can't figure out why. i have all the power, reset, PLED+ and PLED- in the right slot on the motherboard. commander pro connected to SATA and USB. all the ports themselves are working, but the lights do not. any ideas? Edited by smoothnobody

Hi there,

The long RGB cable should be going into the commander PRO channel 1. You can see how it is supposed to come stock here: https://www.corsair.com/medias/sys_master/images/images/h84/hc9/9112466161694/-CC-9011148-WW-Gallery-1000D-17.png

You should then be able to control the lights in iCUE.

Hi Buddy.

there is no motherboard connection for the front panel button and usb lighting.

SO.. the supplied 1000D commander pro should have an RGB cable plugged into its LED channel ONE... this cable routes from there to the Front Corsair Sails Logo. and then off up to the Front IO for the power button and USB ports lighting... this would then be configured in icue in the 1000D tab under Chassis Lighting. see below

first 4 LEDs in a square are the sails logo.. the rest in the box next to it are the Front IO LEDS for the power button and usb ports

to add.

because you have the front sails and IO lighting in LED channel one. you will find hanging in the front of the case. an RGB output cable. this is LED channel one and indeed shows as lighting channel one in iCUE. see below images

  • 1 year later...

I ordered a 1000R from Amazon warehouse and when I installed the motherboard and everything else on it cable I noticed that it doesn't have any power and hard drive LED on wire on it and I thought it was why they returned it to Amazon but it is way to heavy to take back it was very good discount for it and I'm on limited budget so if I ritted it I would have to pay full price for a new one and wait a few weeks and it was 3 moths last year to get my money back to my credit card bill loan so  I ordered a new front io panel and it doesn't look like it has a power and hard drive leds wires on it either so Does this Corsair 1000R I can't find the wires for the power and  hdd leds the  on the month board front panel header cables

The 1000D does not have Power or HDD LED connectors so what you described is indeed normal.
