The issue has been present for several days and reported widely by many users across various platforms. In the time it has taken both ASUS and Corsair to acknowledge the problem and promise precisely zero solutions, a random person on the Internet has come to the rescue.

"Rep" stands for "representative", right? Is Corsair happy to be represented as having slopey shoulders and an unwillingness to seek mutual solutions with their partner organisations on behalf of their customers?

Try my post it should work for you too.

This works! I was sure to go through all of the Packages in the previous post to yours and uninstall *everything* ASUS, Armory Crate, etc, related before reinstalling *just* AURA Sync 1.0.79 (link from ASUS).

Seems like Armory Crate and/or new services being installed breaks this functionality, but installing *just* AURA Sync 1.0.79 works for now.

It even works with the Z590 boards (I specifically tested the Maximus XIII Hero).

Thanks again! Life saver!

You will need to reach out to Asus regarding the plugin being out of date or not working as it should properly as that plugin is developed and provided by them.

"As you saw from our CES 2020 announcement, we are now in a partnership"

Calling it a partnership with asus is A JOKE. Hey it's broken! What's your response? Go message Asus. Guess what Asus says? Go message Corsair.

Do you just like pissing off your customers or is it a hobby? Have your two companies ever picked up the phone and talked to each other or do you just exchange emails on occasion?

Just based on this alone I wish I could return every Corsair/Asus product alone and say to hell with all of you.

I also renamed the zip .dll from asus_motherboard_plugin.dll to asus_plugin.dll, I don't know if that was necessary.

It was DEFINITELY necessary.

This step finally allowed iCUE to control the RGB on my ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus. I've been struggling with this for almost a week, and it never occurred to me that the file provided on the forums wasn't working because it had the wrong filename.
