Napascj
Hi guys, I have an issue with colour matching between fans. My setup is 4 SP120's RGB into an RGB hub, into a Commander Pro LED channel. I also have 2 ML120 PRO RGB fans connected to the H100i cooler so they do not use the RGB hub nor Commander Pro. After completing a new build 2 weeks ago I noticed my #1 SP120 fan is off-colour, for example the white is less blue-y, yellows look different etc. It's noticeable and annoying me. Today I swapped out the fan for a different one since I have a spare SP120 RGB. The replacement fan is doing the same, so now I'm guessing it's an issue with the RGB hub. Q: Can I skip port #1 on the RGB fan hub and use 2-5 instead? I have a feeling the issue might be with the first RGB port, unless you guys have any other theories. Thanks! DevBiker
Unlikely that it's the hub. The hubs are incredibly dumb and simple devices. There is absolutely, positively no intelligence to them at all. They are just traces and a capacitor. That's it. And no, you absolutely cannot skip ports. Well, I guess technically, you can, but then nothing will work.

The only other piece of hardware connected to everything is the Commander Pro, but only the fan power is connected to that. The RGB Hub is using LED Port #1 of this but it was in my previous build too and it had no issue. I wonder if a re-install of iCUE may help.
