Lt_Walke Posted January 25, 2021 Share Posted January 25, 2021 I have bought the HX850i Platinum PSU and I want to ensure I am properly understanding the compatibility chart. for HXi it would be type 3 and for platinum it is type 4. but I have an HXi platinum. Also some cable compatibility charts refer to black or yellow labels. Would this be older units? My box is black but the labelling is Blue/white with grey. Thanks in advance for any help. Corsair has some non-i versions on the HX series in Platinum, Gold and Bronze which is where I think some of the confusion comes from. Also the color labels in the cable compatibility charts have nothing to do with the color of the box your PSU is or came in.
