amsscript
I bought a 2nd m.2 drive for my new Vengeance i7200 pc and discovered that the screw in place for that 2nd slot was not the correct one for mounting an m.2 nvme drive. Using that screw would bend the drive down at an angle which is improper. I could not find another screw in the box my pc came with and was wondering if anyone else had this issue or if there was some trick I was missing? What I've doing now is ordering from amazon what I believe is the proper m.2 screw for the msi motherboard. But figured I post here as well to see if anyone else has run into this or had other suggestions in case these replacement screws don't work. Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted January 25, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 25, 2021 Hey amsscript, you may be missing the screw standoff, which would raise the screwpoint up slightly so that the M.2 drive would be leveled straight. If what you're trying isn't correct, reach out to support team, should be able to help you further. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
