rylangrant
Hi, I have a pair of XMS 3200 sticks (CMX512 -3200C2) running in Dual channel on my P4C800 Deluxe motherboard. Sometimes my computer just crashes and does a full reboot or i get windows memory errors. I ran Memtest86 on it in both dual channel mode and by testing each stick individually. I also did this in a second computer and one stick consistantly has errors, while the other stick works fine. Since these are running dual channel and need to be the same I'm assuming both need to be RMA'ed, but I'm not totally familiar with this procedure. Where do I request the RMA and how do I go about the replacment? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 2, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 2, 2005 Yes I would suggest you replace both modules, but I would also suggest setting the Dim Voltage to 2.75 Volts and Disable legacy USB and re-test the suspect module and if you do find it's failing then lease follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
