iCUE v3.37 crashing after a GPU driver update

Hi,

 

This issue also occurs with 3.36 and maybe previous versions.

The app crashes after a GPU driver update, with an OpenGL-related error message. The following event is logged:

Simply uninstall the Nvidia driver, reboot then install a newer version. The driver installer won't ask to reboot. The iCUE app will crash after a few minutes even if you don't try to open via the tray icon.

CUE uses GPU resources, so if you do a driver uninstall while CUE is running, it will crash the app. If you do your GPU updates in the OS environment, quit the CUE before uninstalling/installing. Other Windows features make use of the GPU as well, so you may need to restart the PC anyway -- even if Nvidia doesn't tell you to do so.
