Miky
Hello everyone, For some week icue was running good, now i've got a big problem with ICUE Software: When I clicked on the icue icon on desktop it would not start, so i decided to uninstall, but when i tried to do it in windows, nothing happened. I decided to delete all the Corsair folder, everything in my ssd C: where it was installed (the main one), and all the "regedit" corsair folder, or better, EVERYTHING with "corsair" name in it and runned cc cleaner. As recommended in forum/site/reddit (windows 10 last version) Downloaded the last version of icue, installing and nothing happen, it pop for a sec. "preparing to install" and then nothing. The installing process is in task manager in background process. I can't even download older versions from the site they do not download except the latest version :sigh!: The problem for me is that i can't understand who is controlling my pump and my fans atm, bios is not for sure (too different fan settings). The funny thing is that deleting all folders, my cpu is +8° cooler in idle lol I really don't know what to do except formatting C:, thing that i don't wanna do just because of this ICUE program.... Help :(: Thanks.
MADRGB
Did you follow this guide in detail? https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE-
alexihatethis
This latest version seems to be completely messed up. I have never had a reason to come to this forum but this latest iCUE software REMOVED my iCUE from my computer when i clicked "UPDATE". I have updated the same way for 2 years now and never had an issue. This is the first time and this iCUE version deleted its own software. Im not surprised that you have issues. Miky
Guys this is a big problem by Corsair. The installer still not working on a clean ssd and a clean installation. My fans are totally uncontrolled since they are powered by corsairHUB (USB2.0) and not motherboard FAN_CPU. The fans are too fast compared to my processor's low temperature. I cannot even return the product. I'm stuck and totally freaking out.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 3, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 3, 2021 Guys this is a big problem by Corsair. You would have had to change something on your system between these two points that is preventing the software from installing. . . . Now I have tried to install it and it gives me the same problem as before having formatted. Based on what you have provided you have clearly installed something that is conflicting and preventing the iCUE installer from working as it would and installing. Or you made some sort of system level change that is preventing it from working.
Miky
It is the same thing that I thought too but I have not installed anything in particular that could block the installation of iCUE :(: The other weird thing is that initially, before formatting the program it worked fine for a week, then it totally crashed without even being able to uninstall
