aestis
Hey all, I just did a new build and am new to the corsair ecosystem. My build is up and running and everything seemed fine until I installed icue, and it shows "No Device Connected." I have this exact hardware and followed this schematic exactly: https://imgur.com/pcHrQPB I'm using an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard, 5800x, 3080 FE if that's helpful. I've tried connecting the USB cable from the commander pro to both USB headers on the mobo (manual says one is USB1213 and the other is USB_E56). Am I doing something wrong? All the fans light up and move, but icue doesn't see anything. Thanks!
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted January 21, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 21, 2021 Make sure your motherboard is running the most up to date BIOS as they never ship with the most updated BIOS and that you have also gone to AMD's website and downloaded and installed the latest chipset driver for the X570 chipset. Once you do that follow the instructions in the link below. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE-

I was actually able to figure out what it was... the problem only happens in remote desktop. So as long as I just use the system directly and not try to control it via RDP, then everything is fine. Is that a known issue with iCUE and remote desktop?
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted January 21, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 21, 2021 Yes iCUE is not supported when being used with remote desktop or VMs.
