donatachi
I spilled water on my K95 Platinum. I immediately unplugged it and turned it upside down over a towel to dry. The keyboard worked immediately after the spill although a few keys were bugged out and the spacebar wouldn't type. It's been 16 hours since the spill and now the keyboard is not working. When plugged in the lights don't come on and none of the keys work. However, the extra USB port in the back works just fine. I tried resetting it by unplugging it and plugging it back in while holding down the esc key and nothing worked. It's odd to me that after drying none of the keys work or even light up when most of them did right after the spill. Is there anything else I can try before giving up? Prob not the wisest idea to have tried it while still wet. if you look under the space bar there are openings direct to the PCB inside. it will have gone inside. it will have created shorts which indeed you witnessed. leave it a week in nice warm dry place and hope for the best.. good luck buddy.. at worst you should be covered on your home/house insurance?
