Salty123 Posted January 17, 2021 Share Posted January 17, 2021 I am trying to disable this annoying computerized voice that says "autoshutdown initiated" I cant seem to find the setting in iCue but I was told its there somewhere? Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted January 19, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 19, 2021 You turn off the voice prompts by opening the iCUE software, going to Settings, selecting the headset from the device list, and then deselecting the Enable Voice Prompts option. Salty123 Posted January 19, 2021 Author Share Posted January 19, 2021 Ya I'm not sure why you keep saying that because you can't, iCue is up to date and that option simply does not exist anywhere within this software. These headphones are clearly broken they just keep saying "autoshutdown initiated" every 5 minutes and I have to push the button to turn that off. Super frustrating and annoying experience. Salty123 Posted January 19, 2021 Author Share Posted January 19, 2021 alright well im a big ol' dummy and I didn't force the firmware update on the headset as it told me the headset was already up to date. After doing this, the enable voice prompts and enable auto shutoff check boxes became available within iCue. I only updated iCue yesterday and not the headset firmware. Your initial complaint just stated that you were experiencing the voice prompts, wanted to turn them off, and couldn't find the option.
