ELEK92
Hello So my friend got a very old AiO it is Corsair H100i Extreme Performance CPU cooler that have no RGB fans He just i installed the iQue software for the first time and the h100i its not showing up. Is this 8 years old AiO supported by iQue? (Everything is connected correctly) Other question is : Just realised i have 2x spare SP120 PRO RGB Fans to give him. My question is : From the water block there are coming out only 2x 3pin cables to power these no rgb fans and.... Can i connect my 2x SP120 RGB fans to these 2x 3pin cable that are coming from water block to power them up and 2x RGB cables to his Corsair Fan Hub?? Will this work? Thanks, Dominik
c-attack
Corsair H100i (2013)? https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/Dual-Radiator-Liquid-Coolers/Hydro-Series%E2%84%A2-H100i-Extreme-Performance-CPU-Cooler/p/CW-9060009-WW 1) H100i has a PWM fan controller. SP-PRO are DC 3 pin motors. They will run at 100% all the time when connected. You would need to put those on the MB or another fan controller. 2) RGB wires from the SP-Pro will need to go to a powered lighting controller, like a Lighting Node Pro (with RGB Lighting Hub) or Lighting Node Core. 3) CUE software will not recognize the 2013 H100i. You would need to use Link for control, but since you won't be using the fan controller and there is no RGB, the only thing it really is good for is monitoring coolant temp. Conversely, I think you have to use CUE in order to control the SP-PRO. I do not think Link will no what to do with them, other than deliberately calling them LED strips or something else. I need to verify this as the release on the SP-Pro was pretty close to the end of Link. However, there would be a good argument to made for using CUE for the lighting and ignoring the HJ100i Link aspect entirely.
