Saving K70 profile to hardware

K70 RGB mk.2 Low Profile

I made my choices for the hardware lighting/actions and saved to my onboard profiles.

This did nothing, the keyboard still defaults to the rainbow spiral colour scheme?

What do?

This below is the general advice, but "K70" is a generic name and does not distinguish between a 7 year old K70 or K70 LED with no onboard memory and a more recent K70 MK.2 that does.

I'll assume you are creating in the hardware lighting sections, then going to onboard profile to save it to a slot.

1) When you tell it to save, do you see the save progress (%) bar sliding across? Or does it just click and then nothing (window closes)?

2) Does it show anything saved there now? Or just generic save slots?

I think either way you should do the soft reset. This won't alter any settings in CUE.

I get a progress bar that shows success and the slows shows as having something saved to it.

I'll try resetting it.

I followed the instructions but after a few minutes it hadn't flashed. icue showed a keyboard icon with a red triangle, which blinked on and off every 15 seconds along with a windows noise signifying new hardware being plugged in.

I unplugged it after getting bored and plugged it back in and icue said the profiles didn't match (the name of the one on the keyboard was corrupted) i then overwrote the profile on the keyboard.

It works now.

Thanks for the help guys.
