TheMarc102
Currently rocking 32 GB's of Corsair Vengeance ram in my rig, any other reason to upgrade to 64gb besides for "future" proofing I was thinking about doing it, since it would look good in my case  Also sorry if this topic has been asked beforehand. Vegan
I use 32GB and its overkill for gaming even the 10th gen console is only 16GB
LeDoyen
besides Flight simulator 2020 that somewhat benefits from 32gb, i don't know of any game that needs that much already. 64gb... i imagine DDR4 will be obsolete before you need that much just for gaming ^^'
Senosse
I personally have 64GB simply to fill in the extra slots, since I felt like the filler kit was a waste. I generally idle around 16-18gb on win 10 64, even with heavy gaming it's hard to reach 32GB let alone 64GB. I do see over 32GB when editing 3d printer files and video/graphic files. LeDoyen
Well, with MS DirectStorage coming in a couple of years or so, maybe ram won't matter as much. Also if playing with memory OC is in the agenda, 2 sticks yield better results pretty much always.
badmatrixbumper
I upgraded from 32GB to 128GB (4x32GB) with a ryzen 16 core. I won't go back. I am LOVING the 128GB, just not having to worry, rendering images/videos chews it all up. With the 16 core ryzen, I feel future proofed for 5 years.
