Nezi
Hello there, I don't know if any one has problems with these headphones, but I do and I couldn't find any fix for it. So my problem is that I can't use my Headphones via bluetooth, I can hear everything but mic is other thing. When I turn on discord I can talk and hear people but my other sound is muted. Also ICUE software doesn't even see the headphones. I tried everything I found on internet, forums nothing helped, tried contacting corsair support, and they said just get it back to where I bought.... Which is not that simple here.... it will take months.... So please if any one has any idea what it could be and how I could fix it please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted January 7, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) What exact headset do you have because the standard HS70 and HS70 Pro does not have Bluetooth and therefore you will not be able to utilize a Bluetooth connection If you have the HS70 Bluetooth headset what you are describing is indeed working as it should when connecting via Bluetooth as the Bluetooth protocol only allows for a single audio stream in and out meaning when you use Discord with that headset and connected via BT you will only have audio and microphone for Discord and not the game you are playing. Also the HS70 Bluetooth will NOT show up in iCUE and is not intended to show up in iCUE when connected via Bluetooth due to the security of the Bluetooth protocol. Nezi
Well I have HS70 Blueetooth. SO you mean these headphones is not actually made for bluetooth gaming? I guess they going straight to bin.... money well spent i guess... Also that means it's falsely advertised cause there is discord+ ICUE icon on the box but neither works. I have found similar issues and am similarly disgruntled. Was clearly marketed for 'bluetooth' gaming and doesn't work as such

Allegan
I have the same problem, and actually I think they read your post. But it is clear that when you say bluetooth, so it can be use as bluetooth, and just bluetooth. Or, otherwise, you say it is only for console. Because on pc, if you have to have a wired connexion to play with bluetooth, bluetooth is just useless and we can choose another headphone. As we are apparently many to have understood like that, maybe Corsair should change its ads for this product, rather than being contemptuous with his customer like in this post. By the way, thanks for this post, now I can return it without waiting for the corsair support response
Theygotme2
These 'bluetooth' headphones work great... when they're plugged in... bluetooth... not so much.. feel like a lot of people just expected to be able to hear the game they are playing and be able to talk to their friends via discord and not have to unplug and reconnect to get up and move around and then have to sit back down and plug back in.. I mean.. for almost 200 bucks.. you'd think they would have tested and fixed issues such as this for their pc gaming consumers.. but, i guess not.. will actively NOT recommend corsair products.. especially considering when i looked for a solution to a problem im having and other people were having a year ago.. they were met with "yeah, we made them not work for your security" which really means, "if you want a bluetooth headset that works as advertized...this isn't it.. but thanks for the donation"

Nencheff
Man, I'm just reading the comments and thinking: what the hell is going on? Why I've spent that amount of money for something that I can't even use properly? I can't play the games and talk with people at the same time with a headset that is indeed advertised as a BT headset, Discord certified bla bla bla? You know what? Why don't you remove the BLUETOOTH logo from the headset/box, put the wire back and make the price $50 lower? Can't believe this ****, honestly! I'd love to read this before instead of following the marketing ads, i was hoping to play on Bluetooth on my PC and finally get rid of all of those cables, but now it seems that I just threw out my money for something that doesn't work like that, and even freaking windows does recognize the mic, but it just doesn't wanna work on Bluetooth. The worst part is that from they said that with BT mode you won't be able to hear your normal PC, but that is bs, if you connect it wired to PC and BT let's say to your phone, it does work like a charm, you really can use your phone and pc with the same headset at the time with no issues, but again, this is not how it was advertised, I wanted to use both on BT but it isn't possible. Really sad in there corsair.

seaweeb
Had this exact problem, apparently it does show up on the iCUE if you use the USB-C connection. They also show up Certified in the voice and video settings on discord this way. Edited August 20, 2022 by seaweeb
