Will Slipstream Work On Non Host Computer

Hello All,

 

Probably a dumb question that I should just y out and see if it works, but I figured I would ask here first.

 

I just picked up a Virtuoso SE headset and Dark Core SE mouse. The headset came with a larger dongle which I believe I read somewhere can be programmed to accept the mouse as well.

 

My question here is if I were to program these on my computer and then plug the dongle into a different computer without any software such as iCUE, would the mouse and headset still both function off of the single dongle?

First, we sincerely apologize for any delay you experienced due to extraordinary holiday support/service request volume.

 

We are working on a feature for our wireless devices called Multipoint that is currently in beta, and would allow this functionality, but it isn't at the point of public release yet.

 

I think the way it would work however is based on both the firmware AND iCUE installation, so I think you would need iCUE on both computers for the multipoint to work correctly.
