Pocah
I have a Commander Pro running with iCEU software. It's a while since I have used it, but I pressed it in to service today. I have four fans attached to it, all of them are PWM fans, and use the same temperature and fan curve, yet each fan runs at a different speed. Only the two fans that are identical run at the same speed. All the rest are wildly different. For example if they are all commanded to run at 1000rpm, one is running at 450rpm, two are running at 1000rpm and the fourth is running at 600rpm. All are capable of running at over 1000rpm. Suspiciously the fans that are misbehaving are not Corsair fans. I have another PC that's doesn't have this problem at all. That also has four fans but they all run at the RPM they are commanded to run at. They are a mix of Noctua and Corsair.... but everything works fine. Pocah
I think I managed to sort the problem out, and it may well be that the Pro contained some data from the past. I am not sure how to erase all of the data in there, and at the moment while I have the fans working it's crashing with a memory error when I turn the PC off. Anyone know how to fix that? c-attack
You should not have to wipe the internal memory of the Commander (pinhole) for any normal reason. What fans are misbehaving? There are a few non-Corsair European designed models that don't get on with the PWM controller. This is typical behavior. Loads up to one RPM and just stays there. Do you have control if setting fixed RPM or fixed PWM %?
