Aeternus
If you use a Commander Pro on USB 2.0 #1 and Commander Core on USB 2.0 #2 (on the motherboard) I understand they'll show up as two separate devices in iCUE, but will the fans be able to configured in some kind of order? Say for example you have: #1 - 5 QLs for power on the Commander Pro and RGB going to Lighting Node (which connects to one of the Commander Pro RGB inputs) #2 - 5 QLs for power/rgb on the Commander Core If you wanted to set a Visor lighting theme, is there a way to make it go sequentially or both devices work independent of each other? c-attack
Devices and RGB channels are independent of each other. So if you have 5 fans on one controller or channel and 5 on another, they are separate lighting groups for programming purposes. The one exception is you can use lighting link effects (visor and color wave are the only two fan to fan effects) and those will run through every capable device in the system. However, it gets tricky with order and that is not something you can control. If you want to keep the fans sequential for those types of effects, make sure both fan groups are on Ch 1 and Ch 2 of the Commander. Also be aware you can remove devices from the global lighting link chain. For example, if I wanted visor on my fans and strips, but not my keyboard and AIO pump head, I could set the global lighting link then hide (not delete) the effect for the KB and pump. Those devices are then skipped in the chain and you can add a different effect.
