Etz
Sometimes I’m running multiple VM’s on it and it does look like that 32GB RAM is enough for me anymore. Any advice, what sticks to look for, to squeeze 64GB into it? Preferrably Corsair RAM sticks? :D: I know that anything, with low profile should fit, but are there any specific recommendations? Queeg
I've always had good luck with Corsair memory. I'd look at their 2x32 LPX sets, and maybe bump up the clock speed to 3200 or 3600 Mhz.
rahaney
You’ll need a new motherboard I think? The MSI z370 only goes to 32GB whereas the z390 does 64GB. That’s a drop in replacement (but not as good a board as the Rog Strix where you need a cable extender for one aspect of it) Recently got 32GB of LPX 3600C16 which is working well. Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted January 7, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 7, 2021 The board in the i160 supports up to max 32GB of RAM, unfortunately.
