MPEG1977
Hi All, First post here but I've been having issues with the Icue software. Originally it was an ARGB gpu support bracket that seems to turn red when I first switch my machine on. I resolved this by clicking enable plugins in the general settings tab then unclicking it which seems to fix it. So no worries I can live with that. The next thing is I've found that a the second LED in one of the corsair light strip seems to stay red longer than is necessary when the LEDs move from red to yellow, green and light blue but it stops at dark blue pink purple. I thought it was a faulty LED but this stops on occasion and it works as intended periodically. The third issue is really what prompted me to seek help. I bought a Polaris MM800. Its plugged into my case directly but it seems to revert to its original default setting of a circulating rainbow effect instead of the linked lighting setting which is assigned to it in Icue. Again this seems to occur randomly until I restart my machine. Even restarting Icue doesn't correct it. Any ideas? I'm on version 3.36.125 Thanks in advance. c-attack
When you "enable plugins" you are transferring Asus MB RGB control over to CUE. However, since CUE cannot control the 5v D-RGB headers and Aura/AC yields control, those basically freeze when CUE takes the reins. If you need your MB 5v RGB headers, leave that unchecked and Aura/AC will still be in control of it and the MB zones. Using the enable plugins is not required to control Corsair devices. The MM800 is a funny one. It has no internal memory so when CUE is not running, it will always revert back to rainbow madness. I assume the rest of lighting is not dropping into hardware mode, so check to see if the device still "shows up" in CUE the next time this happens while in the Windows OS environment. We are trying to differentiate between the MM800 dropping in and out repeatedly or if it is not being recognized on boot. The latter is a little easier to deal with and a simple unplug/replug usually resolves it. The former can be hard to pin down.
MPEG1977
Not only does it show up in Icue when the rainbow madness is occuring it simulates the correct pattern and colour in Icue...it just doesn't display it on the mat. Also to top it off it looks like the lighting strips coming off of the comander pro has stopped working entirely...unless that is i set it as instant colour....this is a nightmare of a product! c-attack
OK, that reads more like a hardware issue to me. Lots of disconnect issues or glitching, but if it shows and sets normally in the software, but you have a mass of dead or unresponsive LEDs on the other end, I would contact Corsair Support.
