K70 RGB LUX leds broken

Tried to remove my keycaps and clean my board with some light cleaner and scrubbing and drying with air. turned it on and 10 minutes later an area of my

leds are not responding properly and flickering, anyway i can go about fixing this? is this avaliable for warranty claim? i purchased it in 2018.

 

In the attached file the entire keyboard should by cyan but it has differently colored areas

First, we sincerely apologize for any delay you experienced due to extraordinary holiday support/service request volume.

 

Unfortunately this seems like a textbook case of a liquid short on the LEDs, which wouldn't be covered under the warranty. I sincerely apologize for your experience here.

 

If you send an email to customer service, I can't make any guarantees, but they often are willing to grant a discount code for our webstore for loyal / repeat buyers -- I'd definitely open up a ticket with support and ask, it's worth a shot!
