Blacksad
Hi all! Not sure if this is the right place for this, but: I'd spoken with a Corsair employee on Reddit, and know that the Capellix RGB Module can be ran in stand alone mode. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/Elite-Capellix-RGB-Module-Replacement/p/CW-8960073 My intention is to use this as interior lighting for a case mod I'm working on. I've received the module, but needed some clarification on it's pinout. It has the standard pump pinout, with the fan header and the specific plug which connects to the commander core. To get ICue to recognize this, is the only way to get it lit up and assignable to get a second Commander Core just for this purpose? Or, is it possible to modify the cables to plug into a LED outlet on a Commander Pro, and assign lighting in that way? Any help would be very much appreciated! Senosse
I think it comes down to how technical you are, easy way would be a second core. Otherwise I would take a peek at this https://github.com/Legion2/CorsairLightingProtocol and see if you can do it. It uses an arduino to control things and you can find various corsair to whatever adapters on ebay if you look for piratedog_tech.
