RippinReaper
Hi, I have the node core that came with my 4000x case and I verified I have the front 3 fans in ports 1, 2, 3. .... 4,5,6 are empty. The icue software has the correct fans selected but it thinks that fan 2 is merged with fan 1. yellow(2) and red(1). And it will not show fan 3. The attached photo will help understand. Is the Node Core not working or do I need to change something in the software? Thanks
c-attack
The LEDs work in series, so if something goes wrong on fan #2, it will affect all the LEDs that come after. Try each fan 1 at a time in slot 1 to make sure they all light up. Try something like white on color that forces all three LEDs on. If all three fans check out on slot 1, put them back in order 1-2-3. If 2-3 is still a mess, it could be the Node Core itself. Swap 1-2 and see if things change. If it is all the same, there is a problem with the Core.

I put all fans in port 1 and they all lit up white (all 4 led's on each fan). Switched it back and this is what it did again (attached). So the node core must be faulty... Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted December 24, 2020 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 24, 2020 The fans that came with that case arent ML Pro RGB fans and as such setting them to that in iCUE will make sure the effects dont look right and the fans don't light up correctly. You will need to change that setting to SP RGB Pro/Elite Series Fans.
RippinReaper
You will need to change that setting to SP RGB Pro/Elite Series Fans. Wow, I thought I read that they were the other fans. My bad. Thank you!
c-attack
I didn’t catch that on the initial screen either. The SP-Pro/Elite setting is for all 8 LED fans, including the SP-Pro, SP-Elite (what you have), and ML-Elite. ML-RGB are 4 LEDs each.
