c-attack
Yes, it’s pretty common to see a slight increase in key height as you move vertically up the key rows or in certain rows to make it easier to locate you fingers without looking. Varies a bit by brand. I don’t ever notice the Corsair step heights, probably because I am used to it. I put an aftermarket key cap set on an older board a few weeks back and was stunned at the difference. Top row caps were double the height of the directional arrow keys. If you are seeing a difference between letter/number keys in the same row, use the key puller to pop the odd tall one out and re-seat it. QWERTY ASDFG and ZXCVB rows should all be the same going across.
LeDoyen
On both corsair keyboard i bought, a lot of keys weren't fully seated. It's not a big deal, you can just (preferably with the keyboard disconnected!) press firmly each key (don't overdo it, it's plastic). Some will pop down in place and they will all be level.
