thomas.balint16
So I built my first custom water cooled pc and i have a total of 13 QL fans in the case. In the commander #6 fan port is for the pump. So that leaves me with 5. I purchased a deep cool hub where i can connect 10 fans. So i did that and than connected the hub to the commander. But i tested it by turning all the fans down to 0 RPM in the commander and the ones that are connected via the hub , only 1 in the hub responds the rest are just on constantly. How can i make this work ? Is there maybe a different hub that would allow control over each fan in it ?
Zotty
hi buddy.. zero RPM modes on PWM hubs can be very hit and miss imho. i gave up chasing it.. i assume they dont go any lower than 700rpm ish?
LeDoyen
I believe the fan that stops is a fluke ^^' I also used this deepcool hub once and even with the system off, all my fans were spinning at minimum RPM. it's an odd one.
thomas.balint16
my fans stop when i turn my pc off. but if i want to control them only 1 from the hub can be controlled the rest are full speed or idk . would adding another commander work ? that would give me 12 fans ports 1 for pump rest 11 for fans. and add 2 y splitters ? Zotty
yes you could do that buddy.. but i figure something is wrong if your fans are running while the machine is off
