Jaffna
Recently I've been getting notifications like this(posted below). Does this mean my pc is going to be shut down or nearing it? The temperatures aren't higher. Anyone familiar with this?
c-attack
It's automatically on with the new Elite coolers. As you discovered in the notifications, it will shutdown the PC if the coolant temp were to reach 70C. Your MB might shut you down at that point as well as the CPU temps would be over 100C. So this is a good thing. However, the presentation makes it look like something has happened. It has not. The little cut-off note under the CPU temp is letting you know that notification (and command) is active. I would prefer something more subtle. It sent a lot of Elite users right to the forums when they first booted up. If you disable the notification in the left side, it will disappear from the temp reading as well. DevBiker
That's just telling you that the "Emergency Shutdown" notification is active (e.g. that it will do it if the temp reaches 70C.), not that it has happened or been triggered. I agree, it's confusing.
