Corsair ValueSelect PC3200 failed memtest

Just looking to start the rma test, I sent off a detailed email already but have yet to recieve a response. Here is a quick list of the troubleshooting tests to verify 1 bad memory module.

 

Pagefault windows crash with memory dump

 

restart

 

PCF_Interrupt_Corrupt Stop 0x0000004 error on windows boot

 

restart

 

IRQ_LESS_THAN_EQUAL Stop 0x000005 error on windows boot

 

restart safe mode

 

PCF Stop error on safe mode boot

 

restart on windows cd

 

PCF stop error on windows cd load

 

restart with 1 out of 2 modules

 

system load

 

restart with the other 1 our of 2 modules

 

system crash

 

restart with the other module, download memtest86

 

make memtest bootdisk

 

shutdown, swap to suspected bad stick

 

run memtest for 4 hours - cancel test - 4000+ errors

 

swap modules

 

run memtest for 12 hours (overnight) cancel test - no errors

 

 

System is :

 

AMD Athlon 64 3000+

Asus K8NE Deluxe

2x Corsair Valueselect PC3200 DDR dimms 512mb each for 1gb total

Geforce 6800 128mb normal

Onboard audio/lan

400w Raidmax powersupply (powers motherboard, cpu, video card,floppy drive, 80mm exhaust and 120mm exhaust fans)

300 Antec powersupply (powers 100gb wd primary hd, 120gb maxtor secondary hd, 120gb maxtor tertiary hd, 160gb seagate 4th hd, 300mm primary case fan, 120mm hd cooling fan, and 52x lite-on cd burner)

 

Timings are 2.5-3-3-8 on auto sense

Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test the suspect module with http://www.memtest.org. If you do still get errors then, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

 

Ok, I'll up the voltage from 2.5 ro 2.7 and run memtest again.
