Scimitar Pro RGB key mapping problem

Problem- Scimitar pro RGB not changing key mapping

 

So I never had this issue on my old computer with iCUE but now that I got a new computer after mine fully crashed, and I put iCUE on here, I can't remap some of my buttons like what was mouse 4 is now Profile switch and I can't seem to switch it to anything else besides Profile switch. So at the moment I have it disabled but now I can't use that button for my MMO's.

 

So any help would be great, because that was a important button for my keybinding layout in MMO's.

Hi Alarmclock,

 

You can try repairing iCUE.

 

1. Open "Apps & features"
   
2. Select iCUE and "Modify"
   
3. After installer loads up, press "next"
   
4. Select "Repair" and proceed
   

 

You can also try resetting the mouse. To reset a Scimitar Pro RGB:

 

1. Unplug the mouse.
   
2. With the mouse unplugged, hold down the left and right mouse buttons.
   
3. While holding down the mouse buttons, plug the mouse back into the computer.
   
4. Wait for the mouse’s LEDs to begin flashing, then release the buttons.
   
5. Unplug the mouse.
   
6. Plug the mouse back into the computer.

did you resolve this problem??

i'm currently using Scimitar pro RGB with iCue 3.32.80.

there are not many bugs.

but after this version, profile switch in lists doesn't work even on recent iCue version.

 

other macros are fine, only profile switch bug :(
