mikekoz
As the title says, last Friday , I purchased an Iron Claw. I got it for its features and size. I read about the issue some people were having with the scroll wheel and mouse buttons, but took a chance on it! My question is a simple one. The left mouse button feels like it clicks twice, but it does not. I can put my finger on the button, and the plastic piece seems to slightly make a clicking noise before it actually engages the switch itself. Is this normal? Is the the beginning of an issue I may have with the left button? Thanks in advance for any feedback all you Iron Claw owners can give me!
c-attack
I would say you need to exchange it. I am not sure that is related to the double click issue at the switch, but I have an unused Iron Claw in a box and the left button is quite precise with a very short throw. No play at the top and less than some other Corsair mice. It should not be wiggling around up there.
mikekoz
Thanks! I ordered another one today from Best Buy and should have it tomorrow and compare the two. I have until the 16th of Jan 2021 to return them!
mikekoz
The replacement I received does not have the same double click feel on the left mouse button, so it is definitely a hardware issue with my original!
