TomTom1298
Hey! Only 1 LED on my RGB LL120 Fan has broke. However, it is just out of warranty. I bought it on 15-10-2018. I’ve been searching on Google if this is normal. It look like the LL series have a short life span I assume. Is there any thing I could do, or do i need to buy a new one... c-attack
If the LED is out, it's probably out for good. Aside from your expert ability to disassemble the fan, obtain that specific type of LED, manage to graft it into place, and reassemble -- you are probably stuck the way you are. You can try moving it to a place in the case where it's not visible (if possible). However, the major problem is these things work in series, so if the LED #4 on Fan 1 is out, you may not get any lights after that in the chain. You probably have to replace at that point. Hard to say on lifespan. Obviously people have LEDs go out. I have 60+ Corsair RGB fans and have yet to lose an LED in the last 4 years. Kind of hard to turn forum post numbers into a percentage of total fans out there, but the expectation should be they last.
