Crimins
Yesterday I replaced 2 memory sticks with the corsair xms ram chips for better performance. Anyway after 10 mins into a game it crashed to desktop and saying it was a driver error. Got back into the game and continued another 5 mins pass and the PC restarted. Anyway I tried 2 games and it is doing the same thing with the Corsair XMS ram chips. I put back the other chips and the games work fine. My set up is radeon 9700pro 128mb agp realtek ac97 audio on board sound amd 64 3300+ processor and some cheezy micro atx motherboard lol
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 27, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 27, 2005 I am sorry, but OEM systems usually do not give you any option that you can change in the bios, which you may need to do with our XMS line of modules. I would suggest you see if the reseller will let you return these and just get VS1GBKit400 instead as long as you are not running or mixing them with the modules that came with your system. Other wise the correct part# would be CMSS512MB-3200.
