Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 27, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 27, 2005 Sony, You are welcome to try it, but we do not officially support more than one set of Twinx modules in any system. Sorry. In addition, you may not be able to over clock your system with more than one set of modules because of chipset loading with all four slots filled. I would suggest you set the timings manually to whats listed bellow for best performance with 4 modules. Please try these settings after you load setup defaults. CPU Freq: 200 MHz Memory Frequency: 100%/DDR400 Dim Voltage to 2.85 Volts (but if you over clock 2.85 Volts) Resulting Frequency: 200MHz/400DDR Legacy USB: Disabled SDRAM CAS Latency: 3T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 8T Then test the system with http://www.memtest.org, but when using any memory test you will need to disable legacy USB support when running the test. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 27, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 27, 2005 I would suggest you watch the Memory Basics Presentation and then if you have questions please let me know. Its not that easy to explain if you do not understand what I have already posted.
