Droopy
I've had a stick of CMX512-2700C2 memory for a few years and recently my computer started acting up (bluescreening, most programs either crashing or running very poorly) and I couldn't pinpoint the problem. I thought it might have been a virus so I reformatted, which did not help. Then I thought it might have been my motherboard since one of my friends had similar problems with the same motherboard. After getting a new motherboard, I kept having problems. One of my programs started giving me memory errors so I went out and got a brand new stick of the exact same kind of memory (except the new one is platinum). Ever since putting in the new stick, everything has worked perfectly so I just want to get my old stick working so I can put it to use instead of having it collect dust.
